Question about checking your T-cell immunity against Covid or SARS-CoV-2

Andrea asked "Would there be any reason to do this test if you're fully vaccinated?"

Thanks, Andrea.

The answer is - We don't know. We are in the midst of enormous, very complicated vaccine experiment and fight against a very difficult virus.

T-cell immunity is less well studied that antibody immunity. But it may good to know both over time. T-cell immunity can be longer lasting.

I think you would check your T-cell immunity out of curiousity and then re-check it in 3 to 6 months. You can also check your antibodies against Covid in parallel.

Those data might be very interesting and helpful.

For now, it is about accumulating your own immunity profile against SARS-CoV-2 and then following those parameters over time.

Pretty cool stuff.
