This study was done by the CDC. Case pts mean those who tested positive for positive for SARS-CoV-2 by RT-PCR and Controls tested negative.
As you can see, the use of masks was similar among the two groups.
Close contact with know positive was associated with risk of infection, but mask wearing wasn't associated with reduced rate of infection.
But why bother with nasty things like data we don't like?
Why study things at all?
Why not just the literati decide what is best for us?
Oh yeah, I forgot, that's how the US handled the pandemic.
And that didn't work out so well.
