Masks, Absurdity and Law Enforcement

When you make law officers enforce absurd laws, bad things happen.
This fact has been illustrated many times before the USA was founded and, sadly, many times since. Prohibition is an easy one for all to remember the absurdity of its enforcement. Though, on the plus side, we have NASCAR.
NO ONE, not even the dullest of the dullards, has said masks should be worn outside. As previously discussed, there are no quality to support the use of surgical masks to prevent the spread of Covid in households or restaurants. However, there aren't even theories to support the use of wearing masks, when a person is outside and separated from others. This nonsense has to stop.
"When a police officer noticed Alecia Kitts without a mask at a middle school football game in Logan, Ohio, last week, he told her she either needed to cover her face or leave. Kitts, 34, repeatedly refused both requests and resisted putting her hands behind her back. The officer then pulled out a Taser, shocked her and hauled her away in handcuffs.
Now, after video of the confrontation went viral, it has become the latest flash point in the battle over mask mandates. Hundreds of threats have flooded Logan, forcing the officer who Tasered Kitts to go off active duty for his safety and prompting a school system to declare a lockdown on Thursday, the Logan Daily News reported." This woman's assault and the tension between security and police officers, just doing their jobs, was completely unnecessary. Hopefully, absurd rules/law and their enforcement will stop on 11/4.
How many people were negatively affected by this event, which should never have occurred? Remember, the law of unintended consequences. BTW, so much for no adverse effects to enforcing people to wear masks.
We have entered an age of bullying by group. Mask wearers vs. sane people. The Mask Wearers, perhaps the victim of intimidation in the past, have united to bully those who don't wear masks. Ms. Kitts was not breaking any law, when she got tasered, but only a school policy, written by Mask Wearers. Mask Wearers don't want to debate; they want to intimidate. Many Mask Wearers appear to enjoy new-found authority to correct strangers' behavior, including the moron, who corrected me for touching a bag of bagels on the counter. Apparently, they have unique rules on what can and cannot be touched in this bagel location (btw, if you don't argue about the best bagel and best pizza joints, you're not from Jersey). I was allowed to touch everything in the store, save the bags of bagels, put on the counter for online orders, like the one I had made an hour before. Each patron used the same credit card machine, which wasn't secured and needed to be manipulated by each customer. We each touched the same counter, the same refrigerator handle, the cream cheese, the orange juice containers, and many exchanged cash with the staff. HOWEVER, Don't touch a bag that has been placed on the counter!!!
Initially, I was confused, but after the staffer kept going, I began to understand what crime I had committed. Even in this crazy time, I could never have deduced that some objects were untouchable and others, similar in nature and use, were not. I started to question the rule and even said "You don't know who you are talking to", because this person, apparently enjoying authority, kept talking or lecturing me. I stopped...and I also stopped going to this bagel store.
