Hello Stephen- Thanks for your posts that dispel some of the misinformation surrounding the response to the SARS-2 outbreak. The more doctors who speak honestly, the better, as so many have chosen to promote the orthodox narrative put forth by politicians and the media. That said, I'm curious about your apparent enthusiasm for the experimental vaccines being produced for "COVID-19". Many scientists who I find to be knowledgeable and reliable state that these treatments will not stop infection, and may only bring about a reduction in symptom severity, and that only in some patients. If this is the case, I cannot see why people, especially those at low risk of serious illness, would rush to participate in what looks to me to be an ongoing clinical trial of experimental medication.
In the history of viral vaccines, all vaccines which work in preventing disease or severe disease also prevent or reduce spread of infection. It’s paradoxical to conclude that the SARS-CoV-2 vaccines, which have proven efficacy in reducing symptomatic disease 75-95% and reducing severe Covid by up to 100%, would have no effect on spread of disease. This hypothesis means that vaccinated people get infected and spread the virus just as much as unvaccinated people, yet don’t get sick like unvaccinated people. And this makes sense to whom? Again, this would be unprecedented in the history of Medicine and Virology.
How do the vaccines protect against disease without reducing spread of infection? Spread of infection, everyone agrees, is related to viral replication – the more the virus replicates, the higher the “viral load”, the more like that person will transmit virus. So, if vaccines do not affect viral replication and viral loads, how do they protect against symptomatic disease so well and severe disease perfectly?
Do the vaccines somehow produce an immune reaction which allows SARS-CoV-2 to replicate as well as ever but no to not cause disease? Do grits cook faster in your kitchen than everyone else’s?
Maybe these vaccines are breaking the laws of physics.
Maybe Jack’s bean salesperson invented these grits… I mean vaccines.
Vaccines works by inducing immunity which slows or stops replication of viruses in hosts (we are hosts to the virus). There is no magical therapy or vaccine which prevent disease or reduces disease severity and does not simultaneously reduce viral replication. What is this magical mechanism of protection by which several different Covid vaccines protect against disease severity, yet leave untouched the ability of the virus to replicate? And how does this Magical Bean vaccine reduce disease severity? Vaccines induce immunity against viruses. They don’t do anything else. They don’t protect your lungs against inflammation. They don’t prevent your blood from clotting. They prevent those clots from embolizing to your lungs. And remember, they are several different types of vaccines which have shown similar protective efficacy. Does each of these very different vaccines act like one of Jack’s Beans?
Stop choosing to be an idiot. Stop embracing this pandemic.
Throw away the dead mouse.
Start thinking straight or I’ll… ok, well, no, I am against all violence, so I can’t do what George did for Lenny.
Follow the science, now and previously, and follow the data, as fairly as you can.
You have to want this horror movie to end. This isn’t an “Ah-ha” video.
Many of you have entered this horror movie, which is your principal mode of entertainment.
Let go of CNN.
Let go of hours of watching YouTube videos.
Let go of conspiracists and their theories.
Get the damn vaccine, whichever one you are offered, and
Get back to living your lives.
And whatever you do, don’t put on 2 masks, and don’t ask me about 2 masks.
Enough of wearing garlic around you neck.
In short, GROW THE FUCK UP!
George
Beautiful a Doctor who throws beside manner out the window when all the world wants him to hold their hand and say it’s OK. Yahooo. Keep it up Doc. And BTW nice analogy and homage to ‘my Cousin Vinny!”
